A Greenville woman stabbed a man in the leg Thursday, according to police reports.

Renee Hines, 28, of 113 Oakdale Road, was charged early Thursday morning for assault with a deadly weapon after she stabbed a man of the same address in the right leg, according to the arrest warrant and reports issued Friday by the Greenville Police Department.

Hines was arrested at 6:31 a.m. and taken to the Pitt County Detention Center, where she was placed under a $5,000 unsecured bond. She faces a Feb. 8 court date.
