The Greenville Police Department is investigating the theft of $2,400 cash from the home of a 75-year-old man, a case report said.

The theft occurred between noon and 1:16 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of Wickham Drive, the report said.

An employee who knew the location of the hidden cash is suspected, the report indicated. No arrest was reported.
