Greenville Police Department officers are looking for a man accused of firing shots and robbing an employee early Sunday at a Sonic drive-thru restaurant, 3751 S. Memorial Drive.
The manager had just closed business for the night about 12:05 a.m. when someone approached one of the doors and fired a shot through it with a .22 caliber rifle, a police news release stated. It shattered and the man entered, then demanding money from the clerk.
He fled the business with an undisclosed amount of cash, the release said. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5 fee 9 inches tall and 140 pounds, wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask.
