A team of accreditation assessors will visit the East Carolina University Police Department this week, and community members are invited to offer comments on Monday during a public information session.
ECU Police Chief Scott Shelton said assessors from the Commission on Accreditation and Law Enforcement Agencies will be on campus to examine all aspects of the department’s polices and procedures, management, operations and support services.
As part of the on-site assessment, agency personnel and members of the community are invited to the public information session at 4 p.m. Monday in the Social Room of Mendenhall Student Center at ECU.
