An ECU student who confessed to vandalizing the field and other property at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium on Sunday allegedly made threats on Twitter on Tuesday.

William Banks, 18, was arrested for stealing and wrecking Kubota utility vehicles and damaging the football field, concession stands and water fountains with two other unknown suspects.

Tweets under the Twitter account xXWillECU16Xx, under the name William Banks were investigated by ECU police. The tweets stated “@ECUSquirrels I’ll have the choppa waiting to mow all of ya down.”
