Three men were arrested on charges of breaking and entering and theft of copper wire at the office of a large rock quarry in Fountain, Pitt County Sheriff’s Office reported.
On May 23, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a breaking and entering at Martin Marietta Materials on Allen Gay Road in Fountain.
The suspects entered the business through the office and cut off and removed 700 feet of copper wire, according to the report.
