The truck in a wreck that killed an ECU student was traveling at the speed limit when it hydroplaned in the rain on Arlington Boulevard, a preliminary report said.

The Ford F-250 hit standing water in heavy rain about 1:30 p.m. on Monday.

The driver lost control near Red Banks Road and traveled into the oncoming lane, hitting a two-door Honda Accord nearly head-on.
