ECU's football dates with ACC teams announced

While Conference USA hasn’t released the schedule for the upcoming football season, three dates for East Carolina football games were confirmed with the release of the ACC slate Thursday.
ECU will travel to Virginia Tech on Sept. 18 and North Carolina on Oct. 2. The Pirates will host N.C. State on Oct. 16.
ECU’s only other non-conference game of the season will be at home against Navy on Nov. 6.

Sounds like the Pirate fans have to be intoxicated to see the pirates lose or else they would not care what time the game is, just be happy to play real teams in a real conference for a change. Go HEELS! Go VT!

ECU needs to play at night game against the Tar Holes but if the wine and cheese crowd has any say expect a noon kickoff. They know Pirate fans know how to tailgate and it will be just too much for them to handle.
What's the deal with Carolina?
Didn't we travel to Carolina last year. Are they scared to come to Greenville? Let's hope the game is a little later in the day than last year. Didn't even have time to tailgate before the game.

If UNC has any say in the matter, they want the game as early as possible to keep the rowdiness-due-to-tailgating to a minimum.
