Ayden-Grifton High School’s Quiz Bowl team won the 2012 Sheppard Memorial Library Public Library Quiz Bowl championship Feb. 11.

Ayden-Grifton, which has won the competition for four consecutive years, defeated J.H. Rose High School 145 to 140.

Members of the Ayden-Grifton team are Jared Igle, Kevin Johnson, Noah Johnson, Shelby Lewis, Jasmine Libby, Nick McLawhorn, Krissy Miller and Jonathan Riggs. They are coached by Will Tyer.
