NATURE EXPLORERS CAMP

WHO: ages 6-8 (must have completed first grade)

WHAT: Recreational camp includes outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, canoeing, pedal boating, nature games, nature study and camping

WHEN: 8 a.m.-noon Monday-Thursday (campers return at 7 p.m. Thursday for a cookout and overnight camping; camp ends at 9 a.m. Friday). June 30-July 3, July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25, July 28-Aug. 1, Aug. 4-8

COST: $45 weekly for city residents, $90 for others.

WHO: ages 8-12

WHAT: Activities will include nature education, science-related activities and experiments, outdoor games, speakers, hiking, field trips and outdoor safety.

WHERE: Pitt County Recreation Complex, County Home Road

WHEN: 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. June 16-19, June 23-26, June 30-July 3, July 21-24, July 28-31, Aug. 4-7.

COST: $65 per session
