0 Comments | Leave a Comment

A local boy’s art has been selected for the 2012 North Carolina General Assembly Youth Art Exhibit.

“Grazing at Night,” by Conner Mills, 8, of Grimesland was one 13 pieces of student artwork statewide. The exhibit, representing work from kindergarten through 12th grade, will be on display for a year in the north lobby of the state Legislative Building in Raleigh. An opening reception will be held in May in conjunction with Youth Art Month.

Conner’s art (which appears on today’s Expressions page), shows a silhouette of a moose eating grass under a starry sky.
