Art night out

Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge, 404 S. Evans St., will sponsor a Kids’ Art Night Out for ages 4 and older, from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Friday. Participants will create Valentine’s Day themed art, have pizza and watch a movie. Cost is $30 for members and $45 for others, with a discount for siblings. Registration is limited. Science day

A Time for Science Nature and Science Learning Center will hold a Family Fun Day from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the center, 5345 Contentnea Lane, Grifton. Take a guided walk through the nature conservancy and create a related nature-craft activity. The cost is $5, adults; $3, children.
