J.H. Rose High School had two teams to win regional mock trial competitions earlier this month.
The White team, made up of Austin Bryan, Austin Phillips, Brandon Morrisey, Violet Noe, Cayla Palmer, Gabrielle Juskeviciute, Daniel Barondes and Andrew Bennett, won in Wilmington.
The Blue team, made up of Meagan Briley, Zach Aldridge, Alice Reed, Fareeha Mustafa, Mary Frances Hasty, Derrick Knox, Courtney Williams and Katie Needell, won the competition held in Greenville. The Black team, comprised of Callie Fry, Laura Goodman, Ellie Lewis, Ushma Vaidya, Jordan Nease, Erin Naziri, and Robert Cellucci, was first-runner up in the Greenville regional event.
