The RiverRock Fest, an all-day festival of music, will return this fall and organizers have already confirmed several bands who will play at Town Commons Nov. 1.

Organizer Steven Maquire said they are still fine-tuning details of the event and will not release any additional information other than was is already available on the event Web site.

But, we can tell you who has already confirmed that they will play:

Mad Tea Party: (Asheville) They're the most recent confirmation and described as a modern Americana duo that includes a guitar and electrified ukulele. Check them out at www.myspace.com/themadteaparty.

Future Islands: (Greenville) Anyone who has been to a local Future Islands show — which can typically mean a hundred fans packed into one small space — has to wonder: just how insane will singer Sam Herring become with all that extra space to run around in? Visit www.myspace.com/futureislands.

Blount Harvey: (Greenville) As another local favorite, Blount Harvey and its massive crew return to River Rock to add a little Hip Hop and soul to the afternoon. Check out www.myspace.com/blountharvey.

Thunderlip: (Wilmington) These hard rockers were the first to confirm their spot at the festival, at the time are the only band ready to bring some seriously hard rock to the stage. Visit www.myspace.com/thunderlip.
