Attention, everyone infuriated with Kanye West after his Bonnaroo appearance this year: You'll want to read this.
Electronica musician Cassettes Won't Listen says he'll offer up his next album for free. But only if you vote for him more than Kanye West before this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
"We all know how Kanye is a good sport when it comes to losing awards," he says in his MySpace blog. "So visit BeatKanye.com to check the video that is up for being nominated for Best Male Video at MTV.com. Or vote for any other artist. The Power is in your hands."
MTV is giving fans the chance to nominate their favorite artists for this year's Video Music Awards and so far, CWL's video "Paper Float" is in the running.
And to show he's serious about the free albums, CWL's latest single, "Freeze and Explode," which isn't supposed to be released until September, is already available for free download. Because some of the published links are faulty, the best way to get the song is to pull it from his MySpace page: www.myspace.com/cassetteswontlisten.
