Arendell Parrott Academy recently inducted 10
students into the Senior Beta Club. Membership is based on academic
achievement and character. Inductees included, from left, standing,
Hayden Tarver, Trey Hill, Aramide Gbadamosi, Logan Hill, Craig
Jenkins, Rob Meyer. Seated, Chandler Henry, Caroline Vaughan,
Madison Mauck and Arianna Holder.
Bethel School raised $1713.59 for the Leukemia and
Lymphoma Society, more than triple its original goal. Lisa
Langemann’s class raised the most with $230.98, followed
by Shelly Tripp’s class with $218.48. The event was
sponsored by the Beta Club.
Ayden Middle names winners in Science Fair

Ayden Middle School recently announced its Science Fair winners.
Brandon Otis received best in show for “Disinfect to Protect.”
Other winners included the following:
Life science, first place, Taylor Whaley; second, Taylor Triplett and Melanie Nipple; third, Max Hannah; and honorable mention, Tyler Morgan, Quasha Langley, Raekwon Neal, Matthew Wilkins, AJ Manning and Jessica McLawhorn.
Physical science, first place, Chyenne Thomas; second, Justin Weber and Josh Andrews; third Garrett Woods; honorable mention, Amanda Speer and Andria McLawhorn, Sarah Craft, Jacob Strickland and Taylor Sutton, and Hannah Benfield.
Earth science: first place, Andres Congleton; second, Kaitlyn Whichard; third, Eva Mewborn and Alicia Navarro; honorable mention, Brittany Taylor and John Picton.
Technology: first place, Robbie Tripp; second, Hunter Jenkins.
