ALL ABOUT STEVE: Mary Horowitz is a crossword puzzle constructor who can come up with the perfect word at a moment's notice, but "normal" behavior eludes her. After she is set up on a blind date with cable-news cameraman Steve, Mary begins to pursue Steve relentlessly as he crisscrosses the country, covering breaking news stories. But things change when Mary becomes embroiled in the news story of the year. Starring Sandra Bullock, Thomas Haden Church, Bradley Cooper, Ken Jeong and D.J. Qualls (1 hour, 38 minutes) Rated PG-13.

CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS: A scientist tries to solve world hunger only to see things go awry as food falls from the sky in abundance. With the voices of Bill Hader, Neil Patrick Harris, Anna Faris, James Caan and Andy Samberg. (1 hour, 21 minutes) Rated PG.

COUPLES RETREAT: Four Midwestern couples embark on a journey to a tropical island resort. While one of the couples is there to work on their marriage, the other three set out to jet ski, spa and enjoy some fun in the sun. They soon discover that participation in the resort's couples therapy is not optional. With Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Faizon Love, Kristin Davis. (1 hour, 47 minutes) Rated PG-13.

FAME: Much like in the Oscar-winning original, directed by Alan Parker, the story tracks the failures and fortunes of super-ambitious young performers and their teachers as they navigate a school year at the prestigious High School for the Performing Arts in New York. With Kherington Payne, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Paul McGill, Asher Book and Kristy Flores. (1 hour, 47 minutes) Rated PG.

FINAL DESITNATION-DEATH TRIP: A 3-D installment of the "Final Destination" series focusing on a teenager that dodges a trip to the grave at a racetrack, only to find that death has a way of equaling the playing field after the fact. With Bobby Campo, Shantel VanSanten, Nick Zano, Haley Webb and Mykelti Williamson. (1 hour, 22 minutes) Rated R.

THE INFORMANT: A rising star at agri-industry giant Archer Daniels Midland suddenly turns whistleblower and FBI informant. Unfortunately for the FBI, their lead witness hasn't been quite so forthcoming about helping himself to the corporate coffers. His ever-changing account frustrates the agents and threatens the case against ADM as it becomes almost impossible to decipher what is real and what is the product of his rambling imagination. With Matt Damon, Scott Bakula, Joel McHale, Melanie Lynskey and Thomas F. Wilson. (1 hour, 48 minutes) Rated R.

THE INVENTION OF LYING: This film takes place in an alternate reality where lying — even the concept of a lie — does not exist. Everyone — from politicians to advertisers to the man on the street — speaks the truth and nothing but the truth with no thought of the consequences. But when a down-on-his-luck loser named Mark suddenly develops the ability to lie, he finds that dishonesty has its rewards. Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Jonah Hill, Louis C.K. andJeffrey Tambor. INGLORIOUS BASTERDS: During World War II a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers. Directed by Quentin Tarantino and starring Brad Pitt, Melanie Laurent, Christoph Waltz, Diane Kruger and Daniel Bruhl. (2 hours, 32 minutes) Rated R.

JENNIFER'S BODY: A cheerleader with the perfect life becomes possessed and begins killing boys in a small town. With Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Simmons, J.K. Simmons and Amy Sedaris. (1 hour, 42 minutes) Rated R.

LOVE HAPPENS: When a self-help author arrives in Seattle to teach a sold-out seminar, he unexpectedly meets the one person who might finally be able to help him help himself. With Aaron Eckhart, Jennifer Aniston, Dan Fogler, John Carroll Lynch and Jennifer Aniston. (1 hour, 49 minutes) Rated PG-13.

PANDRUM: From the creators of the "Resident Evil" film franchise comes this terrifying thriller in which two crew members wake up on an abandoned spacecraft with no idea who they are, how long they've been asleep, or what their mission is. With Dennis Quaid, Ben Foster, Cam Gigandet, Antje Traue, and Cung Le. (1 hour, 48 minutes) Rated R.
