SERVICES

Ayden Christian Church, 462 Second St., will have homecoming at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. David Sawyer, meteorologist for WNCT-TV, will speak. The service will include a remembrance of members who have died in the past year. Following the service, a covered-dish luncheon will be held in the Family Life Center.

Cherry Lane Free Will Baptist Church, 210 Wilson St., will celebrate the 17th anniversary of Pastor Shirley Braxton on Sunday. Eldress Josie Best will speak at the 11 a.m. service. Bishop Henry Brown and Mount Calvary Free Will Baptist Church will lead a service at 4 p.m.

Gospel Saloon Ministries, 8114 N.C. 258, Farmville, will have revival at 7 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, featuring Mary Lee.

Haddock Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1548 Ivy Road, Winterville, will have quarterly meeting this weekend. Communion will begin at 7 p.m. today, and Sunday services will begin at 11 a.m. The Rev. Robert Wilder will speak.

Haddocks United American Free Will Baptist Church will have quarterly meeting at 11 a.m. Sunday. Dinner will follow. Little Creek church members will be guests at 3 p.m.

Higher Ground will have joy nights at 7:30 p.m. Fridays. At 4 p.m. Sunday, there will be a service on the fruit of the spirit. The church will have family and friends day at 11 a.m. Nov. 15.

Holly Hill Original Free Will Baptist Church will have a deacons and mothers anniversary at 11 a.m. Sunday. The Holly Hill Junior Choir will sing.

Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 4284 West Ave., will celebrate its 111th anniversary with services at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Jerry Spruell, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, C.B. Gray and Triumph Missionary Baptist of Washington, N.C., will be guests. Dinner will be served.

Mount Zion Holy Church, 3325 Ayden Golf Club Road, Winterville, will have a youth service at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14. Pastor Glen Roach and At the Cross Ministry will be guests.

The New Lily of the Valley United Holy Church of America, 1515 Broad St., will celebrate Magnolia Walker’s 18th anniversary at 7:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 4 p.m. Nov. 15. Speakers include Charles Lewis of Antioch United Holy Church, Aaron McNair Sr. and New Mount Moriah United Holy Church of Farmville, Margaret Spell and Summerville Chapel United Holy Church of Wilson, Richard Darden and Brown’s Town United Holy Church of Snow Hill, Mark Spell and Disciples of Christ Deliverance Ministries of Durham; and Delois Waddell and Holy Temple Miracle Tabernacle United Holy Church of Snow Hill.

Noah’s Ark Father, Son and Holy Ghost Deliverance Church, 601 Greenfield Blvd., will hold its 35th annual holy Convocation with services at 11 a.m. and 8:15 p.m. today and 11 a.m. Sunday.

Lela Cherry will preach her initial sermon at 6 p.m. Nov. 15 at Pleasant Plain United Holy Church, Ayden.

Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church, 335 Riverside Road, Grifton, will hold a men’s day service at 6 p.m. Saturday. Quarterly meeting and Thanksgiving service will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 15. A Communion service will be held at 7 p.m. on Nov. 14. Dallas Joyner will speak.

Rocksprings Church will celebrate its 107th anniversary with services at 3 p.m. Sunday. Dinner will be served. Pastors James Phillips and Arnold Daren will speak.

Rouses Abundant Life Ministries will have 96th anniversary services at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and at 11 a.m. Nov. 15. Guests include Pastor Jimmy Stokes and Waterside Church; Bishop Arnold Darden and Moye’s Chapel Church, Elder Kenneth R. Joyner and Zion Hill Church; and Pastor John H. Parker and Central Baptist Church, Camp Springs, Md.

St. James Free Will Baptist Church, Fountain, will have revival at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Friday. Guest speaker will be Anita Harris of Faith and Evidence Church.

St. Rest United Holy Church, 154 Hammond St., Winterville, will have a women’s fellowship service at 10 a.m. Saturday. Vernia L. Elliot will speak.

I entered Church announcement for Elm Grove U.A.F.W.B.Church Mother's and Usher's Anninversary on June 28th at 3:00PM but I have not seen it online yet did it make the newspaper?
