Six Pitt County students selected for Middle School Honors Chorus

Six students from Pitt County public schools have been accepted into the North Carolina Middle School Honors Chorus.

There were more than 1,300 auditions throughout the state. The top 160 students will sing Saturday and Sunday in Winston-Salem for the N.C. Music Educators Association. The chorus will be conducted by Jonathan Willcocks.

Students from Hope Middle included: William Beach, Jackson Dellana, Dasola Olanrewaju and Sean Silver. Their teacher is Paul Flowers.

Students from A.G. Cox included: Daquon Hampton and Jamin Williams. Their teacher is Beth Hegwer.
