Ice melting was exaggerated.......
http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2012/02/08/earths-polar-ice-melting-less-than-thought Whoopee!!!!! 30 percent less than estimated. Still pretty bad. From the article you posted.... "If the amount of ice lost between 2003 and 2010 covered the United States, the whole country would be under one-and-a-half feet of water, or it'd fill Lake Erie eight times, researchers say. Ocean levels worldwide are rising about six hundredths of an inch per year, according to researcher John Wahr. While vast quantities of ice melting into the ocean is not exactly good news, Wahr says, according to his team's estimates, about 30 percent less ice is melting than previously thought."

Considering that I live near the water, and a rise of a few feet means my ground floor is underwater, yea, I'm worried about it. Also means more/more frequent flooding. Outer Banks ceasing to exist. Money and debt are ultimately man-made contrivances. You can't build a house on a balanced budget. You need dry land for that,

Yes, this "scientist" who's been working for a power plant operator for the last 40 years, as an executive. No bias there at all. Also, he's a chemist, not a climatologist, or even a meteorologist.
Face it, denying global warming is the 9/11 twoof of the right wing idiots.
