They figure Obama has no chance, so they bash all the candidates pretty harshly, except for Romney. Any candidate that threatens them, the bash beyond the norm. Look at what they have done to Cain, Newt, and now Santorum. If you want to see who the left will tolerate, just look at who they give a pass to when it comes to criticism.

Not only is it a hoot it pretty much blows up your notion that Dems want Mitt to the point of not finding any fault with him - of course James and Newt went to the same school so he has a bit of a "thing" for Newt but even so I think this counts as a pretty outspoken attack on the main man in the Republican race (in his own eyes at least.)

Yea, the Democrats totally forced Cain to be a sleazoid womanizer, Newt into being, well, Newt, and they just held Santorum down and beat him with a rubber hose until he agreed to be a fundamentalist mouthbreather so socially conservative even many republicans find it distasteful. Totally. Democrats won't need to do a damn thing this fall. They just need to run their opponents campaign ads and let them beat themselves.

I don't know of any Democrats who think that Obama has no chance, Equal. He's the frontrunner. Romney is in fact the one who they feel has the best chance of contending against Obama, not the least. You have it backwards.

I don't consider myself a member of any political party but I hang out with a lot of yellow dog Dems and none of them seems to be convinced that Obama has NO chance.
I personally think he will run well against anyone the Republicans can bring themselves to agree on actually. Folks on this forum keep saying how badly he is trailing but I am not seeing that data myself.
