From the Kaiser Foundation: http://healthreform.kff.org/SubsidyCalculator.aspx Just pop in your own situation or the situation of someone you know and see what you come up with. My niece for example, is a 28 year old single person who earns about $30,000 a year as a waitress. Under Obamacare she has to buy a $3391 policy and her subsidy from the government is $882, and she'll pay $2,509, or $209 per month. Right now she has a high-deductible policy, not employer paid, that she pays $126 per month for. That means she'll be paying an extra $83 per month; almost a thousand after-tax dollars a year extra.
