As I write this, it is Oct. 22 and I just voted. By the time this column is in print, we will have elected a new president. Wow, what a great gift we have as American citizens to be able to voice our opinion by voting. With an election year, however, comes an onslaught of media attention about the economy, national security, job security, health care, taxes, and so on and so on. This contributes to a heightened level of fear and anxiety in many people, and this can play a great toll on personal health and well being. So, let's talk about anxiety and ways to cope.
