Esther Hahn, 25, Greenville

Esther Hahn loves music of all kinds, especially rock.

“I love 30 Seconds to Mars, Incubus, Avenge, Sublime and Sevenfold as well as local rock 
acts Parmalee and Brad Benson,” she says. “And I like country music, too. I like everything 
but classical.”

Esther has more than 20 “stations” programmed in Pandora Internet radio — including Bruno Mars and Citizen Cope — and sings along to whatever’s playing while she’s in the shower. A current favorite: Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain.”

And even though she said she would love to be a member of the band Maroon 5 — “I love Adam Levine! I would love to be in his band!” — she says you will never catch her singing in public.

The Goldsboro native graduated from Mitchell’s Hair Academy and is a stylist at Greenville’s Boulevard Hair Co.

She could eat chicken salad every day and bad drivers tick her off. She has always wanted to backpack across Europe, yet her favorite place in the world is “home sweet home.” Her passion is doing hair and her guilty pleasure is “a big glass of red wine.”

The three words she uses to describe herself: “Spontaneous, soft-hearted firecracker.”
