Greenville's a great place to live, work and play.
This issue of Her... magazine celebrates the people, places and things that make Greenville so special. Members of the readers' panel share what they love about Greenville, from their preferred cocktail to their favorite walking trail.
"Uptown" Greenville makes a fabulous locale for our fall fashion shoot featuring clothing from Monkee's of Greenville. You'll surely recognize the Fifth Street locations that serve as a backdrop for the great fall clothing modeled by Katelyn Putnam and Brittany Heath. Thanks to Beth Niser and Sarah Bateman of Beth Niser Photography for the fabulous images.
As a Greenville native, I've seen my hometown grow into a thriving city filled with top-notch restaurants, high-quality entertainment, superior health care and great shopping. Despite all the growth, Greenville has retained its small-town charm. I'm a fan of the town's commitment to beautification with its wonderful plantings along public streets, its emphasis on youth sports and its generosity of spirit exhibited in its support of worthy causes. And Greenville knows how to have fun, too — from the annual Pigskin Pig-out barbecue-cooking contest to the elegant Fine Arts Ball formal to support the Greenville Museum of Art. There's something for everybody.
I look forward to seeing you out and about in Greenville this fall.
