Six J.H. Rose swimmers qualify for states

J.H. Rose had two girls and four boys qualify for the 4-A swimming and diving state championships with their performances at the 4-A Eastern Regional in Cary on Saturday.

Sara Morgan Pou finished third in the 100 fly with time of 59.1, and fourth in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:11.42. JHR diver Elise Carroll finished third in the 1-meter competition.

On the boys’ side, Joseph Sang, A.J. Parker, Cameron Oakley and Anthony Rook qualified for states with an eighth-place finish in the 200 medley relay. Sang also took eighth in the 100 fly with a time of 55.54.
