Thefts reported
Several people reported thefts to the Greenville Police Department recently. Following are incidents involving weapons or where losses totaled $500 or more.
A 30-year-old employee of Eye Care Center reported someone stole seven pairs of frames from the store in the 600 block of Southeast Greenville Boulevard on Saturday.
A 23-year-old woman reported someone used a key to enter her apartment in the 1500 block of Bridle Court on Friday or Saturday, stealing a $125 wooden jewelry box, a $199 tennis bracelet, two pairs of earrings, two necklaces, a $1,500 chain with a Jesus pendant, a $500 television, $1,100 cash, a $100 VCR and a $300 stereo.
A 20-year-old man reported someone pointed a gun at him on Sunday at the corner of Arlington Boulevard and Hooker Road demanding money. No injuries were reported, but the suspect stole a $3.75 pack of cigarettes and a lighter.
Damage reported
A 31-year-old man reported someone turned a heating and air conditioning unit on its side causing $3,000 damage outside his home in the 2700 block of Townes Drive between May 31 and June 1.
43-year-old Apex woman reported someone broke the rear window of her 1993 Acura Legend in the 2200 block of Locksley Woods on Saturday. The vehicle sustained $500 damage.
