Armed robbery
Greenville Police officers investigated a report that a man was robbed at gunpoint at an apartment building in the 200 block of Hartford Street on Wednesday. The robber took a gold chain valued at $150 and $80 in cash. No injuries were reported in the robbery.
Man assaulted
Officers responded to a report that a 41-year-old man was punched in the jaw at his home in the 1500 block of Green Haven Lane on Wednesday, resulting in minor injuries.
Break-in, larceny
Officers investigated a break-in at a residence in the 1400 block of Broad Street on Wednesday.
Someone broke into a vacant house, stole a handicap ramp valued at $300 and a window air conditioner valued at $200, then painted graffiti on the premises, according to a representatve of Stewart Properties.
Woman assaulted
Pitt County Sheriff's deputies investigated a report that a 19-year-old woman was assaulted and threatened by one of her parents at her home on Belvoir Road on Wednesday. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Larceny
Deputies responded to a report that someone stole a ladder and scaffold from a 30-year-old self-employed man at a residence in the 1800 block of Black Jack Simpson Road on Wednesday.
Parts stolen
Deputies investigated a report that someone stole four auto transmissions valued at $900 from a 47-year-old man at his home in the 700 block of Barrus Construction Road on Wednesday.
Embezzlement
Detectives investigated a report from a representative of the Pantry at 2600 Charles St. that someone printed a money order, valued at $500, on a store computer.
