Someone fired a handgun in the direction of a 31-year-old woman outside her home in the 1300 block of Myrtle Avenue on Sunday, according to a Greenville Police Department report. She was not injured.

A 33-year-old man was grabbed and scratched on the neck and face by someone he dates at his apartment in the 2200 block of East 10th Street on Sunday.

Police arrested Jennifer Nicole Cobb, 26, of the same address, later that day and charged her with assault. She was not sent to jail, but the magistrate told her not to return home that evening and released her into her brother's custody.
