Coat, cell phones taken in robbery

Greenville Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Paris Avenue and Halifax Street on Monday. An unidentified person reportedly pointed a gun at a man and took his wallet and coat, $70 in cash and two cell phones valued at $200. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Other larcenies reported in Greenville:

Officers investigated a report that someone forced entry into a 26-year-old man's residence in the 100 block of Jarvis Street on Monday and stole a computer valued at $500, two video game consoles, games valued at $700 and assorted DVDs valued at $180.

An unknown person reportedly entered a 23-year-old woman's car parked in a lot at Evans and Washington streets on Sunday and stole a GPS unit valued at $500, a purse valued at $300, two tennis rackets valued at $100, a mounting dock for an iPod valued at $50 and a phone charger valued at $20.

Officers investigated a report that someone entered a woman's home in the 400 block of Eastern Street on Sunday and stole a digital camera valued at $100, a cell phone valued at $50, a box of contact lenses valued at $90, prescription medication valued at $25 and $50 in cash.

Someone broke into a 33-year-old man's apartment in the 500 block of East First Street on Monday and stole $360 in cash and a gold watch valued at $50, officers reported.

Computers stolen

East Carolina University Police officers investigated a report from an ECU official that someone stole two computers valued at $2,200 from the Brewster Building and Christenbury Memorial Gym on Friday.

Cell phone stolen

Officers responded to a report that someone forced entry into a medical office at 600 Moye Blvd. and stole a FedEx package that contained a cell phone valued at $400 on Monday.

Auto theft

Pitt County Sheriff's deputies investigated a report that someone stole a gray 2000 Daewoo sedan valued at $2,000 belonging to a 21-year-old man while parked in the 2200 block of N.C. 33 in Greenville on Thursday.

Home break-in, larceny

Deputies responded to a report that someone forced entry through the front door of the home of a 22-year-old woman in the 5000 block of Corey Road on Monday, damaged several home furnishings and stole $1,076 in cash.
