Greenville Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that occurred Friday at 6:36 p.m. at the intersection of Hooker Road and Burrington Road.
Travis Roshon Daniels, 23, was traveling north on Hooker when he lost control of his 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle, a department official said. Daniels was listed in critical condition Saturday at Pitt County memorial Hospital, an official there said. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, officers said.
GREENVILLE
Man stabbed
Officers responded to a report that a man was stabbed in the chest Friday afternoon at a residence in the 1300 block of West Third Street.
The man was transported to Pitt County Memorial Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries, a police spokesman said.
Officers are investigating the incident that reportedly involved an argument between the victim and another person, the spokesman said.
Woman assaulted, man arrested
Greenville Police officers responded to a report that a 24-year-old woman was kept in the bedroom of her home on East 10th Street and beaten by her boyfriend on Friday, causing minor injuries to the woman.
Police arrested Brian Jason McGray, 27, of the same address and charged him with false imprisonment, assault on a female and interfering with emergency communications. McGray was held without bond at the Pitt County Detention Center.
Store larceny, arrest made
Greenville Police officers responded to an alarm activation at Omega Sports at 3160 Evans St. at 1:10 a.m. on Saturday, according to a department spokesman. Upon arrival, officer K.Z. Edwards observed three men running from behind the store and pursued them, Cpl. Kip Gaskins said.
Edwards was able to subdue and arrest one of the suspects, Gaskins said.
Darion Lamarr Johnson, 17 was charged with breaking and entering the store and resisting, delaying and obstructing the officer. Johnson was held at the Pitt County Detention Center on a $25,000 secured bond.
The two other suspects were described as black males wearing dark clothing, Gaskins said.

Greenville Police investigated several other larcenies:
An official with the Joy Community Center at 700 Albemarle Ave. reported someone took an air conditioner valued at $3,000 from the center on Thursday.
Officers investigated a report that someone entered the residence of a 42-year-old woman in the 3300 block of Moseley Drive on Friday and stole a television valued at $1,500, a video game system valued at $375, a DVD unit and discs valued at $300, a guitar amplifier valued at $200 and $25 in cash.
Officers also responded to a report that someone broke a window into the home of a 25-year-old man in the 1600 block of Myrtle Avenue on Tuesday and stole a DVD collection valued at $800.
Officers responded to a report that someone took store items valued at $800 from Wal-Mart at 210 S.W. Greenville Blvd. on Friday. Officers arrested Brandon Sherrod Clemons, 23, of 1502 Halifax St. and charged him with one count of larceny. Clemons was held at the Pitt County Detention Center on a $1,000 bond.
