A 33-year-old Pitt County Sheriff's Office employee was assaulted in the 100 block of Forlines Road on Saturday. He was not hurt. The assailant was also cited for driving while impaired, fleeing or eluding arrest, resist, delay or obstruct an officer, and driving while license revoked, according to a Sheriff's Office report.

No injuries were reported after a 45-year-old woman was assaulted by an acquaintance in the 3400 block of Highland Drive, Farmville, on Saturday.
SUV stolen
A 1999 blue Ford Explorer belonging to a 25-year-old female was stolen from her home in the 900 block of Fontana Court between Thursday and Saturday. The vehicle is worth approximately $7,000.
Electronics taken
Someone broke a window in the door of a residence in the 100 block of Lindbeth Drive on Saturday and stole a $900 flat screen TV, a $150 DVD player and a $50 set of surround sound speakers from the 52-year-old female living there.
Domestic assault
A 22-year-old female was punched and pushed by her boyfriend at her apartment in the 4100 block of Brook Creek Lane on Friday.
