Greenville Police officers investigated a report that a 68-year-old woman received minor injuries when she was thrown from her wheelchair by a relative who took an undisclosed amount of money from her at her home in the 100 block of Ridgeway Street on Tuesday.

Woman assaulted

Officers responded to a report that a 19-year-old woman was assaulted by her boyfriend at her home in the 500 block of McKinley Avenue on Wednesday, resulting in minor injuries when her arm was closed in the bedroom door several times.

Man assaulted

Officers investigated a report that a 21-year-old man was assaulted by someone he knew who entered his residence in the 500 block of Elizabeth Street on Wednesday. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Domestic assault

Pitt County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report that a 34-year-old woman was assaulted by her husband at her home on Northwest Acres Drive on Tuesday. No injuries were reported.

Deputies arrested Kenny Ray Smallwood, 41 of the same address and charged him with assault on a female. Smallwood was held at the Pitt County Detention Center on $1,000 bond.

Man assaulted

Deputies investigated a report that a 34-year-old man was assaulted by his girlfriend at his home on King's Branch Drive on Tuesday. No injuries were reported, but a tire on his vehicle was damaged in the incident, deputies said.

Auto theft

Deputies responded to a report that someone stole a blue and gray 1987 GMC Custom SUV valued at $2,000 from the home of a 63-year-old man in the 1500 block of Ellwood Drive on Tuesday.

Home larceny

Deputies investigated a break-in at an 18-year-old man's home in the 5500 block of Moss Lane near Washington on Tuesday. Someone reportedly took a video game system valued at $500 and $400 in cash.

Larceny

Someone reportedly stole an air conditioner unit valued at $500 from the home of a 29-year-old man in the 1700 block of Cornelius Lane on Tuesday.
