Several larcenies were reported recently to the Greenville Police Department:
Officers investigated a report that someone entered through a window into a residence in the 600 block of Spring Forest Road on Wednesday and stole a computer valued at $400, $30 in cash and a telephone valued at $30.
A gray 2002 Buick LeSabre valued at $8,000 also was stolen from the address.
Representatives from Wal-Mart at 210 S. Greenville Blvd. reported that someone broke into the store's camera case on Wednesday and stole four cameras valued at $1,350.
Officers received a report that someone entered the rear kitchen window of a 22-year-old woman's home in the 100 block of Luci Drive on Tuesday and stole a set of car wheel rims valued at $500, a laptop valued at $600 and a camera valued at $300.
Officers investigated a report that someone entered a 28-year-old woman's car in a lot in the 1200 block of Park West Drive on Wednesday and stole a car stereo system valued at $450, a car battery valued at $100 and Cadillac symbols valued at $50.
Officers responded to a report that two people stole a digital camera and two MP3 players valued at $560 from the Best Buy at 3140 S. Evans Street on Wednesday.
They arrested Susan Marie Polen, 34, of 1323 Black Jack Simpson Road and Scott Allen Polen, 37, of the same address and charged both with shoplifting. Scott Polen also was charged with carrying a box cutter.
Both were held at the Pitt County Detention Center on $1,500 bonds.
Woman assaulted
Pitt County Sheriff's deputies investigated a report that a 19-year-old woman was assaulted by her boyfriend at her home on Langley Drive on Wednesday, resulting in minor injuries.
Break-in, larceny
Deputies responded to a report that someone broke into a home in the 2800 block of Porter Road on Wednesday and stole three watches valued at $750 and a credit card.
