Local authorities seize cocaine in drug bust

The Greenville Police Department's IMPACT Team in cooperation with the Special Investigations Unit concluded an investigation into the trafficking of cocaine from the Rocky Mount area to Greenville.

Police arrested five people on a variety of drug charges and seized about three ounces of powder cocaine worth about $3,000 on the street, a Greenville Police Department news release said.

Arrested were Henry Fertondo Richardson, 22, of Enfield; Malory Lamont Staton, 30, of Rocky Mount; Ceairra Sharrell Davis, 18, of Nashville; Brook Leeah Richardson, 19, of Rocky Mount; and Camela Loreese Williams, 20, of Rocky Mount.

IMPACT stands for Increased Mobilization of Police and Community Together.
