A journey comes full circle this month for a group of local writers.
“The Day The Earth Moved Haiti: From Havoc to Healing,” a book by five Pitt County women, is now available nationwide, coinciding with the two-year anniversary of the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that devastated the Caribbean island nation in January 2010.
The book is a compilation of essays, recollections, poetry and scripture telling the story of the destruction and recovery after the earthquake.
