Arthritis is a condition in which the joints become inflamed, causing tension, pain and limited motion. There are many factors that can cause arthritis, including diet, age and natural body use.
Signs of the time
There are traditional warning signs that pet owners can observe for arthritis, such as your dog taking longer to get up from his nap or your cat not being able to jump as high as usual. Over time, you may notice your pet is not moving as quickly and efficiently or may appear to be in pain as he or she runs, walks, jumps or sits. These are all indications that your pet might be suffering from arthritis. Other signs include:
