The Family Support Network of Eastern North Carolina will hold its annual Festival of Trees fundraiser beginning Nov. 30 at the Greenville Convention Center, 303 S.W. Greenville Blvd. More than 100 trees are transformed into a different theme or meaning for Christmas. Proceeds from the festival support scholarships, special projects and helping area families through Eastern North Carolina. Call 328-4494.
Fifth Monday Swing Night

Christmas parade
The highlight of the weekend full of holiday events is the 2009 Greenville Jaycees Holiday Parade, scheduled for 10 a.m. Dec. 5. The parade starts at the corner of 10th and Evans Street in Uptown Greenville. This year's parade includes a special performance by the band Trainwreck. In addition to the parade, Uptown Greenville will once again host the Greenville Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Holiday Artwalk at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 4. Suggest removalThe Queen Anne's Revenge Conservation Lab is having an Open Day Event that is free to the public. Visitor can tour the conservation lab and talk to archaeologists and conservators.
