Dustin Harrington and the Pirates demolished Monmouth, 16-2, clinching the three-game series for ECU and leaving little doubt about the team’s penchant for power hitting. Harrington was a perfect 6-for-6 with two home runs, six RBIs and five runs scored — all career bests.

Eastern North Carolina has had some crazy weather this winter. Fear not, however, as the promise of warmer weather is just around the corner as the first day of spring in March 20. With the warmer weather also comes walks and runs for a variety of charities and East Carolina Univeristy baseball.
