The Atlanta Journal-Constitution: C+
"The film would fare better if it focused more on (Sarah Jessica) Parker's character ... and jettisoned some of the stupid pet tricks."
The Palm Beach Post: C+
"Do not go to Failure to Launch expecting a radically surprising ending. Go instead for Parker's deadpan cynical roommate, Zooey Deschanel, whose every line assures her theft of this movie."
