"There aren't enough strong performances, original moments or clever dialogue to say 'yes' to this 'Proposal.'"

"I thought the movie was highly entertaining and Sandra's facial expressions are the BEST. Great movie, really. And seeing Ryan in the buff REALLY didn't hurt :)"

Same Ol Same Ol

"Take a formula and beat it to death. Maybe you change careers for the actors or move part of it out to Alaska, but I've seen this movie too many times. We had a contest after the movie to name at least five other movies with this formula and it was easy and most, including the made for tv ones, were better.
Yes everyone loves Sandy, but it would be nice to see her take an occassional chance on screen."

sweet, funny and fine

"Yes, the initial AS review is right, this is a formula movie, but so what? In several places they really nicely take the formula approach and turn it around, so the unexpected happens. The acting is all great.
This is a movie that men, who are true film fans will like, and OMIGOD, women just die. One girl had her head on her knees, gasping for air, she was laughing so hard.
It takes a little while to get going, but this is a keeper. We'll own this when it comes out on DVD. Definitely a date night movie.
Only warning: if you go on Friday night, expect 100 women in the theater to talk all the way through it."

Go See The Proposal!

"I saw the scathing review of The Proposal, but went to see it anyway -- expecting to see a light-hearted, fluff movie. It certainly wasn't Oscar worthy, but I loved it! There was a chemistry between all the actors and I especially loved Betty White and of course, Ramon! I highly recommend it."
