"this movie was trying to hard to be "cutesy" it was horrible, boring and the love interest of the main character wasn't as hot as he should have been. at one point the movie tried it's hand at being a tear jerk er which was laughable, all in all a pathetic movie, the only reason I saw it was because a friend had free passes! "

" I think that the Associated Press reviewer was either having a bad day or is a very cynical person. I thought this was a very fun movie. It had a fun story, good scenery and a happy ending. I saw The Hangover, Land of the Lost and this movie this weekend and I would say that My Life in Ruins was the most enjoyable."

"Incredible feel good movie of the summer. Beautiful scenery. Excellent character development. No slow spots. I cried and laughed all the way through the movie. Surprises around every corner. Will go sit through it again and will buy the DVD. Best movie I have seen this year.
