BOARD OF EDUCATION
• The 12 school board members are elected from one of six districts in the county. The districts correspond with the districts of county commissioners. Each district has "A" and "B" representatives. They are elected to staggered terms every six years. The board meets on the first and third Mondays of the month at 7:30 p.m. on the third floor in the county office building, 1717 W. Fifth St., Greenville.
