Convention and Visitors Bureau
The Greenville-Pitt County Convention & Visitors Bureau promotes tourism in Greenville and Pitt County, coordinates events and activities and provides information on local hotels, restaurants and attractions. The visitors center at the Greenville Convention Center offers a wealth of information on eastern North Carolina and the rest of the state. Hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Uptown Umbrella Market
The Uptown Umbrella Market is an open air market along the streets of Uptown Greenville on Evans and surrounding streets. The market is held two Saturdays a month from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Greenville Convention Center
The City of Greenville and the Hilton Greenville opened the center in 2002 to host meetings, shows and expositions. Located on Greenville Boulevard, the facility is part of the 32-acre campus that includes the Hilton Greenville and the City Hotel & Bistro.
The $9 million facility features 42,000 square feet of space, including the 38,000-square-foot exhibit hall. The center seats nearly 3,000 people and holds up to 180 exhibit booths. It can be divided into five areas for simultaneous events. It is technologically state of the art, enabling video conferences with locations worldwide. The price tag to rent the entire facility is $2,400 a day. Smaller groups can rent part of the center at a lower rate.
