Pitt County has joined the effort to streamline the delivery of WIC programming through improved technology.
Pitt and six other counties launched the Crossroads WIC System this week. Crossroads is a new management information system that will completely automate the documentation of client services, said Josephine Cialone, head of the state Division of Public Health’s Nutrition Services Branch.
“It’s a system that was designed to move WIC program operations into a pretty much fully web-based system,” Cialone said.
