Pitt County commissioners honored retiring Deputy County Manager Melonie Bryan with a resolution during Monday’s board meeting.

“I’m so happy I am the chairman who gets to sign this,” Commissioner Beth Ward said.


The resolution detailed Bryan’s 16-year career with the county. It stated the county, under Bryan’s leadership, has received multiple awards for its financial reporting.
