ECU celebrates fall graduation

More than 2,300 East Carolina University students turned their tassels at the 105th commencement ceremony Friday.

Psychology graduate Marie Shuter said she is excited to receive her degree and head to England to earn a doctorate in neuroscience.


“My goal has developed as I studied at ECU,” Shuter said. “I originally wanted a medical degree but found out I was more research oriented.”
