Deputy Chief Joe Bartlett said the Greenville Police Department is taking Chief William Anderson’s recent decision to become the police chief in Asheville “one day at a time.”
“It’s been a lot to take in,” Bartlett said. “So we’re just taking things slow right now.”
Bartlett will become interim chief during the replacement process for Anderson, whose last day will be Feb. 17.
