Health care leaders honored

Two leaders in Pitt County health care were honored with resolutions of appreciation from the Board of Commissioners.

Dr. Juan March, chief of the division of emergency medical services at the Brody School of Medicine, was honored for his 15 years of service as the county’s EMS medical director. March stepped down from that position earlier this year.


“You have a passion for our citizens, a passion to help them,” Commissioner Jimmy Garris, board chairman, said.
