Hindu event celebrates spring

A celebration of spring at River Park North on Sunday will not involve painted eggs but painted people.

Holi is a Hindu celebration that welcomes spring, champions the triumph of good over evil and uses bursts of color to remind people we are all the same.


“When you put colors on everybody you don’t know what color anyone is,” Rajesh Verma, an organizer of this year’s event said.
